MARCH TUITION

Payment for tuition/fees is exclusively accepted through our tuition software, and it will appear as a draft from your bank by Lincoln Savings Bank.

A late fee of $50.00 per month will be imposed on the 6th. If tuition remains unpaid for two consecutive weeks, the child may be withdrawn, and the spot will promptly be filled with a family from the waitlist.

Absences cannot be compensated by attending on an alternative day.

Invoices will be sent to the parent/guardian’s email on record. A New Day CDC prioritizes environmental sustainability and, therefore, issues receipts via email to the individual financially responsible each month during the tuition processing. These receipts contain all necessary information for taxes, HSA, and FSA purposes.

Tuition may be adjusted when necessary, with a complete 30-day written notice to the administration office of A New Day CDC from the parents. Kindly direct written emails to irma@anewdaycdc.com.

In instances where circumstances or hardships make it challenging to pay tuition, please reach out to Irma to arrange a payment schedule and sign a payment agreement. No refunds or prorates are issued for absences, adverse weather days, vacations, teacher in-service days, holidays, or any day the school is closed due to unforeseen circumstances, including closures initiated by state officials, CDC, or administration.

ARRIVALS & ATTENDANCE

We kindly request your understanding regarding the importance of your child's regular attendance to meet their need for consistency and order. It is essential for children to arrive before the educational portion of the program which begins at 8:45 am each day. This practice minimizes disruptions in the classroom, establishes a consistent routine, and aids in preparing children for the eventual transition to kindergarten.

Ensuring timely attendance enables your child to fully engage in classroom lessons and other valuable learning experiences. Missing these lessons can deprive children of crucial learning opportunities and disrupts both students and teachers who are already engaged in the day's lessons. Your cooperation in maintaining a punctual attendance is greatly appreciated.

STUDENT DROP OFF CUT OFF TIME

Parents are kindly requested not to bring children in late, except in the case of a doctor's appointment, emergency, or special family occasion. Should you require a late drop-off time beyond 8:45 am, please be sure to communicate with our staff by sending a message. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

IMMUNIZATIONS & EXEMPTIONS

Each child enrolled or admitted to A New Day CDC must meet applicable immunization requirements specified by the Texas Department of Health Immunization Requirements in Texas elementary and Secondary Schools and Institutions of Higher Education. This requirement applies to all children in the child-care home from birth to 14 years of age.

The State requires that all records must be on file with A New Day Child Development Center within one week after the  date of admission and must be signed by a healthcare professional who has examined the child within the past year.

If these forms are not submitted within one week of starting school, your child may not return until forms are submitted.

  • Health status information is critical to ensuring that the individual needs of children are met, while protecting the health and safety of all children in care. Upon enrollment, each child will need the following:

  • A statement signed by a physician licensed to practice medicine shall certify that the physician has currently examined the child, and the child is physically able to participate in the school’s program.

  • A current shot record shall be kept on file at the school and must be always updated.

  • A signed statement from the parent giving the name and address of a health-care professional who has examined the child within the past year stating that the child is able to participate in the school program.

  • In accordance with the Minimum Standards #747.305 all childcare staff must notify all parents of children in the child- care center within 48 hours when any child in care has contracted a communicable disease. Any communicable disease must be reported to the Texas Department of Health as specified in 25 TAC 97, Subchapter A (relating to Control of Communicable Disease). Parents may access this information from the Texas Department of Health or TDPR Licensing Staff.

HEARING & VISION SCREENING

All children 4 years and older, are required by the state, to complete a vision and hearing screening with numeric results. Please obtain a copy of these screenings from your physician. Parents must submit the report from this screening to A NEW DAY CDC

within one week of the child’s start date, or the child will not be admitted.
